ORDINANCE NO. 26671971
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 2325 1968 COMMONLY KNOIvN
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
ADOPTED JUNE.3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION io WHEREAS, the Zoning ,Map which is a part of Ordinance
No. 23�5-1968 designates and describes as R-3 (One to Eight
Family Residential , the following described property located
at 430, 434 and 438 Richmond Avenue plus 509-511 Northwest 5th
Street, in the. City of Richmond, Indiana, to -wit;
Lots numbered 78, 79 and 80 in the Haynes Addition to
the City of Richmond, Indiana,
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpuse hereof to
change the zoning classification of the above described area
from R_3 to C-4a
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of this Or finance was conducted by
the Richmond Plan Commission on the__jt;,j_ day of�a Y ,
1971, at which time remonstrances were heard from par iei
interested in or aff:cted by this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission

NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the Zoning classification
of the above described property be, and the same is hereby changed
to General Business District and that said property be regulated
in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, and all amendments thereto.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and publication as by law required.
SECTION 7. The origivial zoning classification of the aforementioned
areas is hereby rescinded and the zoning classification of this
area will be in accordance with Section 2 of this Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Richmond Common Council of the City of
