Snow Emergency Route Restrictions Will Go In Effect at
12:00am on Monday, February 15, 2016
Leesburg, VA (February 14, 2016) – Current forecasts call for one to two inches of snow to fall
in Leesburg overnight and into Monday, February 15. In preparation for possible snow removal
operations, Town officials will put Snow Emergency Route restrictions into effect at midnight
tonight.
When Snow Emergency Route restrictions are in place, all vehicles parked on the street along
snow emergency routes (King, Market and Loudoun Streets) must be removed. Any vehicles
remaining on snow emergency routes once snow removal operations begin will be towed at the
owners’ expense.
The Leesburg Snow Hotline (703-777-SNOW) will be activated at 7:00am on Monday, February
15, 2016. Residents can call the hotline for information on current snow removal operations
and to report snow-related problems. Residents can also report problems via the Town website
at www.leesburgva.gov/snowissue.
