It :vas decided not to transfer the men. Carl,Cordill,Frye,Molander,Tinker and Venable were present. After some discussion it was decided to appoint a health officer. Upon blllot,Dr. Anderson received 3 votes and Dr.McCain who being called over the phone declined the offer. Dr. Anderson was called to the rneetin ' and he explained the duties of the office. Cordill moved, Molander seconded -:To disizna to Dr. Anderson as health offs eer at the salary of 15.00 per month for the rest of the term of this board. Motion carried. Molander moved, Cordill seconded: To adjourn subject to the call of the Mayor. Motion cdtrriel. It was decided at this meetin7 that some :ork be provided for the men who were out of work and lived within the town limits.The S.& A. The question -f admitting the school grounds into the town limits was brourht up. Att'v Kelly's opinion which had been received by phor by the clerk was reported to be that the question should be placed on the ballot in the spring election.It was sug~es ted that Mr.I el?y write up the resolution for minutes. Atty Belly had also phoned that the board could not appropreat e money of the ton for the purpose of building a library building since the yearly budzet had been sent in tote Tax co eission. only by a petition signed by a majority of the legal voters of the town. This petition should state the amount the board could spend.
