RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT WITH HATCH MOTT MACDONALD AUTHORIZING
THE PREPARATION OF BID SPECIFICATIONS, CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS AND PERMIT APPLICATION(S) FOR THE
HAYWARD AVENUE PUMP STATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering
-services with regard to the Hayward Avenue Pump Station Project; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineers, Hatch Mott MacDonald,
possess the requisite skill and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Hatch Mott MacDonald has submitted a proposal to provide said
engineering services at a total cost not to exceed $9,800.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal rrom Hatch Mott MacDonald for engineering
services related to the Hayward Avenue Pump Station Project
at a total cost not to exceed $9,800.00 be approved.
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal.
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract.
Adopted this 13th day ofJanuary, 2005
and certified as a true copy of the
original on January 14, 2005.
