Cordill moved,Venable seconded:To allow the bills and draw warrants
on the treasurer for the amounte.Motion carried.
A petition signed by more than50% of the voters of the town
which asked that the board spend not to exceed F 2,000 for the
erection of a library building,this moneyto be used with the money
am. labor furnished by the WPA,was read.This had been sent to the
State tax commission and a letter from them stated they did not
think that this ratter came under their judsdiction and asked that
the town take the matter up with the Att'y General.This was done
by Town Att'y Wm.Kelly and he wrote the Appropriation ordinance.
A letter from Att'y Kelly asked about the streets around the
park which was to be admitted into the town with the school propert
After the letter came the clerk talked to Mr.Kelly and he stated
that he would have an engineer survey the driveway and place tit on
a map but it could not be done by the time of th March meeting
The other letters being of no special benifit to the board tbey
were filed with the others and no action taken on them.
Molander moved, Co±dill seconded:To adjourn subject tc the call
of the M ayor. Motion carried.

Called meeting April 1 1936
The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M.hy Mayor VanBuskirkl
who explained that he had called the meeting because the foundation
ofthe library building which was being built had been condemned' by
the inspectors. Members present:Frye,Molander,Tinker and Venable.
Absent Carl .and Cordill.
After some discussion it was decided that the building committees
of the town and the library board should go to greel1ey to see the
WPA engineers and ask them to furnish blue prints and specifications
for the building as had been asked for when the work *ad began.
The same supertendent was retain on work.The- meeting then ad j ourne _;`

Regular meet April 7 1936
ayor Van Buskirk called the meeting to order at 9:45 P.M. after the
electioh votes had been counted.Carl,Cordill,Frye,Molander,Tinker
and Venable.
The minutes of the regular meeting of March 3 and called meeting
of April 1 were read and approved asread.
Molander moved,Cordill seconded:To rent the Town lots • to the
VanBuskirk Motor Sales Co.for one year at the rate of 15 per year
All voted aye.
