A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT FOR THE CITY'S AMENDED GENERAL PLAN AND
ADOPTING SAID PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City has amended its General Plan
in compliance with applicable portions of the California Government
Code; and
WHEREAS, the public was noticed and given ample opportunity to
comment on the proposed amended General Plan during public hearings
conducted by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has approved and recommended
that the City Council certify the Environmental Impact Report and
approve the amended General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has included public hearings concern-
ing the Environmental Impact Report and amended General Plan; and
WHEREAS, all testimony and comments received during all public
hearing processes have been given due consideration;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
finds that:
1. The Environmental Impact Report associated with the amended
General Plan has been completed in substantial compliance with
the Environmental Quality Act and is therefore certified; and
2. The amended General Plan with its goals, policies, implementa-
tion measures, text and maps are approved; and
3. That all aspects of subsequent zone changes as may be required
by this amended General Plan and as are required by the Govern-
ment Code to be consistent with the General Plan have been
considered in this action by the City Council and do not require
further Environmental Documentation.
ADOPTED, SIGNED and APPROVED this 21st day of April, 1987.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution, Resolution No.
87 -2708, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City
at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of April 1987, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Atkins, Dennis, Swain, Gillanders
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen - Froehle
