A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD TO
TRANSFER $13,500 IN UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS FROM FUND 60001 TO
FUND 62015 TO COVER THE REMAINING TERM OF THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN AVANT GARDE AND THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
WHEREAS, the City desires to utilize the services of Consultant as an
f-, independent contractor to provide consulting services to the City;
i WHEREAS, the Consultant represents that it is fully qualified to perform
~ such consulting services by virtue of its experience and the training, educations
and expertise of its principals and employees; and
WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with Avant Garde on
August 12, 2008, and has extended that Agreement under a First Amendment
dated October 21, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the Development Services Department is requesting that
$13,500 be transferred to its Professional & Contractual Services, in order to
fulfill their obligation under this contract.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the $13,500 be used for the Agreement between Avant
Garde and the City of Lynwood for Planning Consultant Services.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make
the following fund appropriations and transfers:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
