CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, SEPTEMBER 8, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the September 8, 2020 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey*, Lester, Schreiber, Vogt, and Ward
Absent: Kemna and Wiseman
A quorum was present. *Councilmember Hussey participated via call-in.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Schreiber will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Police Detective Jason Ambler will introduce Police Officer Jeremy Bowman as this
year’s FOP Officer of the Year.
Appointments
- Gail Strope, Human Resources Director, will present the recommended boards and
commissions appointments.
Consent Agenda Items
- There were no questions on the consent agenda items.
Bills Introduced (Councilmember Wiseman arrived at 5:50 P.M.)
- City Staff provided a summary of their introduced bills.
Pending Bills
- City Staff provided a summary of their pending bills.
Informal Calendar
- Councilmember Hensley intends to take bill 2020-013 off the informal calendar, and
bring the bill up for a vote.
Resolution
- City Staff provided a summary of their resolution.
