AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-3. ALCOHOL, DRUG, AND CONTROLLED
SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY, (M) EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE, (U) TESTING
LOCATIONS, AND (V) WHO TO CONTACT OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3-3. Alcohol, Drug, and Controlled Substance Abuse Policy,
(M) Employee Assistance, (U) Testing Locations, and (V) Who to Contact is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 3-3. Alcohol, Drug, and Controlled Substance Abuse Policy.
(m) Employee Assistance. The City shall maintain a contract Employee Assistance Program
(EAP) which will provide counseling or referral for drug and alcohol abuse. Employees
may contact the EAP at Capital Region Niledieal Cente.. Certo. f Mental Wellness -
Personal Assistance Services (PAS) by calling 636 8255 800-356-0845 or supervisors
may assist employees by contacting the EAP on the employee's behalf.
(u) TESTING LOCATIONS
Drug and alcohol tests shall be performed at locations established by contracts. The
following locations and times reflect the current contracts:

(v) Who to contact. For questions concerning the Alcohol, Drug and Controlled Substance
Abuse policy, the City's rules, and testing programs, employees may contact the Director
of Human Resources at 634-6310. For professional assistance regarding drug and/or
alcohol dependency or abuse, employees may contact the Employee Assistance Program
counselor at 632-98 800-356-0845.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
