Mayor Molander opened the meeting at 8:00 P.M.
Those present: Burro n,Hsnkins,Jeremiassen,Sanden,Tinker,& Venable.
Minutes of the adjourned meeting of April 9 were re3d and approved.
A letter from the Junior Chamber of Commerce asked the Town to
observe Good Will day and asked the Mayor to appoint some to gc with
the caravan to Colo.Springs.The letter was turned over to Ray Burman
to take the matter up with the Community Club.
Colorado Municipal League wrote that there was an annual meeting
of the league members at Alamosa in June but no delegates were made.
Wyatt Hardware gave prices on park hose.It was left to the com-
mittee to buy the hose.
The Weld County Commissioners sent a list of delinquent taxes in
Ault and asked that a committee be appointed to study the situation
and then meet with the commissioners to talk over the best way of
collecting these.
Mr.Pearson asked the Board for a raise of wages.Venable moved,
Jeremiassen seconded:To raise Mr. Pearson's wages to 60.00 to begin
with May. Mot ion carried.
It was decided to fence the old spud cellar of Chas.Collins to
keep people from dumping on the bank. J. M.Minnis was given the right
to oversee the dumping.
Venable moved,Sanden seconded:That a copy of Sec.8 of 0ddinance 8
pertaining to gambling be copied and registered to the pool halls.
Upon roll call all voted aye.
Jeremiassen moved,Burman seconded:To collect a dog tax of 2.00
for males and g 3.00 for females.Motion carried.
Venable moved,Burman seconded:To disignate the week of May 11
as clean-up week and that all trash should be on the alleys by Sat.
night and that the hauling would be done the first three days of
the next week. Motion carried.
Sanden moved,Tinker seconded:To raise the prices of the cemetery
lots fit 10.00 and g 15.00 each. Motion carried.
