Venable moved,Sanden seconded:To adjourn subject to the call of the Mayor.M6tion carried. Regular meeting The meeting was called to orderat 8:05 by Mayor Molander. Burman,Hankins,Jeremiassen,Sanden,Tinker and Venable present. Minutes of regular meeting of May 5 were read and approved as read. The Mayor stated that some of the board had been through the alleys and the- were in better shape than t ey had been for a long time and that some of the ash pits needed some repairs yet. Venable moved,Sanden seconded:To grant Vernon Frye a deed to two cemetery lats.Motion carried upon roll call. It was decided to have notices posted in the toilets to the effect that any one defacing them would be prosbcuted, in case they were caught defacing them. After considering the matter of admitting outside meat peddlers it was decided not to allow them to sell unless they conformed to the State lays on slaughter houses. Hankins moved,Venable seconded:To -rant a 3.3% beer license to M.E.Sansom in the Dooling building. Motion carried. Jeremiassen moved,Sanden seconded: To refund J.B.Doolin=; his unexpired beer license less the cost of the license.Motion carried. Jere?niassen moved,Burman seconded:That the marshal notify all know gambling houses to stop all kinds of card playing and gambling or their different licenses would be revoked: Upon roil callfaur voted aye,Burman,Jererniassen,Sanden and Venable,Hankins and Tinker no.Motion carried. Venable moved,Tinker seconded:To accept the annexation of the school grounds and the rest of the park which had not been in the town limits.Motion carried upon roll call. Burman moved,Tinker seconded:To donate 50,00 to the support of a band. Motion carried upon roll call.
