The meeting was called to order by Mayor Robert Scott. All members were present.
The minutes of the regular monthly meeting of September 7, 1961, were read.
Harold Winterhalter made the rhot ion that the minutes be accepted as amended.
Raymond Bosch seconded the motion. The motion was carried. Mayor Scott read
the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of September 20, 1)65.
Eugene Pulju made the motion to post Bobolin_. Drive at 5 tons. Harold Winterhalter
seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
A letter was received from Air. William Seitz in regard to a 30 or 40 foot road
right-of-way. It was laid aside until it is possible to consult with the Village
Engineer and the Village Attorney.
The truck and snowplow bids were opened. Raymond Bosch made the motion to hold
a s-oecial meeting on Friday, October 8, 1)65", at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of
going over the truck and snowplow bids. Eugene Pulju seconded the motion. The
motion was carried.
The bid for snowplow equipment rental was opened. Raymond Bosch made the motion
to hold over the awarding of a snowplow contract unt i 1 after a decision on the
truck and snowplow has been made. Eugene Pulju seconded the motion. The motion
was carried.
Women from the Suburban Health Nursing Service were on hand to explain the many
benefits gained by Medina Village by belonging to it.
Raymond Bosch made the motion to adopt the resolution to have the Suburban Public
Health Nursing Service for the calendar year 1�66. Eugene Pulju seconded the
motion. The motion was carried.
Mr. Ruben Fries and Mr. Stan Banashak were on hand to explain the auto repair work
they ares doing.
Harold Winterhalter made the motion that preliminary approval be granted to
Deerwood`Plat by Mr. Doug Dolliff on the basis that either the blacKtopping be
completed before final approval, or that a petition be filed requesting the
bla,cktopping to be done alid assessed to the benefited property owners, excluding
Air. Harvey Scherer and Air. Wayne Allen. Raymond Bosch seconded the motion.
The motion was carried.
Mr. Joe Raskob, Mr. Fra,nk Molitor and Mr. Gilbert Pettit appeared to discuss the
matter of their off sale liquor stores staying open until 10 p.m.
Raymond Bosch made the motion that a building permit be innoxad. granted to
Jades Huele. Harold Wint erhalt er seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
Mr. Glen Litfin appeared before the council to discuss his last bill. Changes
in price were made.
Eugene Pulju made the motion that the bills be Paid. Raymond Bosch seconded the
motion. The motion was carried.
Harold Winterhalter made the motion that the meeting be adjourned until Monday,
October 11, 1g6-5, at 8:30 p.m. -Eugene Pu).ju seconded the motion. The motion was
