Mayor Molander called the meeting tc order at 8:C5 P. . Members
present:Surma.n,Hankins,Sanden,Jeremiassen,Tinker and Venable.
The minutes of the regular m=eeting of Oct.5 were read and
approved as read.
y C.f.Kelly asked the Board that he bepaid more than 3C per
hour for the painting that he had done for the town.It was decided
to pay an extra 1 O per hr.
Cal Metzger asked the Board to do something about M.!!.Brown
having buildings over on the Metzger lots. The Mayor replied that
the Board would talk the matter over. After Mr.Metzger left the
board discussed the matter a short time and decided that they did
not have any thing to do about settling, line disputes.
There was quitea discussion about obtaining a greater water
supply for the town. They decided to have test hole put down and
the clerk was instructed to get the lowest prices for this work.
Venable moved,Burman seconded:That the following tax levy be
assessed on a, valuation of 273,050:

Interest 5.0 "
Payments of bonds 8.0 "
Library 2.0
Street & Alley 1.5 "
All voted aye upon roll call,when motion was put.
The marshal was instructed to go into all public places to see
that they are conducted correctly.
Tinker moved,Jeremiassen seconded:To approve the application
of Ed. Clausen for a drug store liquor license for 1938. Motion carrad
