WANDER. being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all times here stated has been the secretary and print- er of the newspaper known as The Wayzata -Plymouth Sun and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows: (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches. 12) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing condi- tions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. 18) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1969 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form pre- scribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper. Crcda,,,,,ce„ Approved by: s i WAYNE Neddermeyer, Mayor of the Village of Medina Official Publication( Ordinance No. 129 MEDINA VILLAGE ORDINANCE AMENDING "1965 CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF MEDINA" TO PROVIDE FOR INCREASED PENALTIES THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VIL- LAGE OF MEDINA DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. Amendment of Section 110:00. Section 110:00 of the "1965 Code of Or- dinances of the Village of Medina" shall be amended to read as follows: Section 110:00. Penalty for Violations. Any person violating any provision of any of the ordinances of the Village of Medina shall be guilty of a public offense and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than $300.00, or imprisonment for not to exceed a period of 90 days, or both, provided, however, that if a dif- ferent punishment be prescribed for violation of a specific portion of said ordinances, such provisions shall govern the punishment for such violation. Section 2. Amendment of Section 700:30. Section 700:30 of the "1965 Code of Or- dinances of the Village of Medina" shall be amended to read as follows: Section 700:30. Penalty. The penalty for any violation under this ordinance shall be a fine of not less than 610.00 nor more than $300.00 or imprisonment of not less than five nor more than 90 days in jail, or both. Section 3. Amendment. of Section 905:45. Section 905:45 of the "1965 Code of Or- dinances of the Village of Medina" shall be amended to read as follows: Section 905:45. Penalty. Any ordinance relating to dumps heretofore enacted and inconsistent with this ordinance is hereby repealed. Any person who vio- lates or causes to be violated any pro- vision of this ordinance shall upon con- viction thereof, be fined not less than $25.00 nor more than 6300.00, and each day of such violation shall constitute a separate offense. This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon its passage and publication. Passed by the Council this 2nd day of Sept., 1969.
