ENABLING RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A GRANT APPLICATION
WITH THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY, DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION/GREEN ACRES PROGRAM FOR THE
MULTI-PARKS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Borough of C~rteret desires to apply forand obtain a grant from the
New Jersey Depal-tment of EnvironmentalProtection/Green Acres for $1,500,000.00 for
the Mq1ti-Parks Project.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED,
1. that the Borough of Carteret does hereby authorize the application for such a
grant; and
2. recognizes and accepts that the Depatiment may offer a lesser or greater amount
and therefOJ:e, upon receipt of the grant agreement from the New Jersey
Department of Environmental Protection/Green Acres, does further authorize the
executìon of any such grant agreement; and also, upon receipt of the fully
executed agTeement. from the Department, does further authol~ze the expenditure
offunds pursuant to the terms of the agreement between the Borough of Carieret
and the New Jersey Department of Envirorunental Protection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the persons whose names, titles, and signatures
appear below are authorized to sign the applícatiçm, and that they or their successors in
said titJes are authorized to sign the agreement and any other documents necessary in
connectìon therewith:
