CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, OCTOBER 5, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the October 5, 2020 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Lester, Schreiber, Vogt, Ward,
Wiseman
Absent: Kemna
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Hussey will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Sierra Thomas will be calling in to speak about “The Great Shake Out” event,
promoting earthquake safety drills.
Presentations
- Fire Chief Matt Schofield will provide information on Fire Prevention Week and
Month, as well as the JCFD’s ISO Class Rating going from at 3/3x to a 2/2x.
Announcements
- Mayor Tergin will announce Buckle Up Phone Down Day as well as Project
Homeless Connect.

- There were no questions on the consent agenda items.

- City Staff provided a summary of their introduced bills.
Resolutions
- City Staff provided a summary of their resolution.
