HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 17-12 Surplus Police TasersCity of McCall RESOLUTION NO. 17-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO RELATING TO SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY; DECLARING PERSONAL PROPERTY SURPLUS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of McCall, Idaho ("City") has acquired certain personal property for the purpose of carrying out services in the public interest; and WHEREAS, Idaho Code 67-5732A allows the conveyance of surplus personal property to other state and local agencies; and WHEREAS, the City Council has deemed it unnecessary to maintain ownership of surplus personal property of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to sell three TASER X26 Tasers to the Heyburn Police Department: NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the City Council of McCall, Idaho, as follows: Section 1: The City Council finds and declares that the City no longer has a use for the surplus property listed as TASER X26 Tasers. Section 2: The City Council adopts the valuation of the surplus property listed and described in as TASER X26 Tasers to be $150 each. Section 3: The City Clerk is authorized and directed to sell to the Heyburn Police Department the surplus property listed as TASER X26 Tasers. Section 4: This Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval. Passed and approved this 13 day of July, 2017.
