ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID
PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, finds that certain
property in the custody of the Fire Department as described below, is surplus property,
and as such represents a burdensome cost for storage and maintenance, and that the
property is no longer needed by the City.
62 each 2.2 Scott SCBA with 2002 upgrades
15 each 2.2 Scott SCBA 1997 standard with no upgrades
225 each 2216 aluminum air bottles
100 Estimated AV 2000 face mask
Section 2. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to advertise for bid the
items described and to trade in or sell the property to the highest bidder by sealed bid,
at public auction or other means.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
