PUBLIC HEARING: VACATION OF PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENTS IN WOODS ESTATES
MEETING MINUTES
PLACE: Community Room, City Hall, 110 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa 52722
DATE: November 14, 2023 TIME: 6:30 p.m.
A public hearing was held in -person at the appointed time and day in accordance with open meeting laws set
and defined by the State of Iowa (Sections 21.2 and 21.8).
1. WELCOME
1.1 CALL TO ORDER - The public hearing was called to order at 6:56 p.m. by Mayor Anthony
Heddlesten.
1.2 ROLL CALL - Council Members present: Paul DCamp, Justin Galbraith, Vincent Jurgena, Doug Littrel.
Absent: Beth Halsey. Also present: Clerk Kelly Krell, Public Works Operations Manager Brian Ballard,
Engineer Chris Cooper, Attorney Paul Macek, Dan Harvey, Stephanie Harvey, Teri Stickler, Jenny
Staub, Steven Townsend, Heather Wren.
2. OPEN PUBLIC HEARING
Motion by Jurgena, seconded by Galbraith, to open the public hearing. Roll call vote: Jurgena aye; DCamp
aye; Galbraith aye; Littrel aye. All ayes; MC. The public hearing was opened at 6:57 p.m.
3. PRESENTATION OF PROPOSED VACATION OF PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENTS IN WOODS ESTATES
INFORMATION
Engineer Cooper, with the assistance of Attorney Macek and Clerk Krell, presented proposed vacation of
public access easements in Woods Estates information and answered questions from council and the
public.
4. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING
Motion by DCamp, seconded by Littrel, to close the public hearing. Roll call vote: Jurgena aye; Galbraith
aye; DCamp aye; Littrel aye. All ayes; MC. The public hearing was closed at 7:13 p.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by DCamp, seconded by Jurgena, to adjourn. All ayes; MC. The public hearing was formally
adjourned at 7:13 p.m.
