RESOLUTION NO. 87 -2743
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY ESTABLISHING A NEW DATE FOR
COMPLETION OF UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT
NO. 6
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Temple
City as follows:
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86 -2450 the City Council, on
August 19, 1986 established Underground Utility District No. 6 in
the vicinity of Live Oak Park and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 86 -2450 stipulated that the removal
of all poles and overhead wires and other associated structures was
to be completed no later than December 31, 1987, and
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company has requested,
in writing, a one year extension of the above completion date,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City
does hereby find and resolve that for good and valid reasons the
completion date for all removals and appurtenant work in Underground
Utility District No. 6, as stipulated in Paragraph (b), Section 2,
of Resolution 86 -2450, is hereby changed from December 31, 1987 to
December 31, 1988.
City Clerk shall notify all affected utilities of the
change by depositing in the U.S. Mail a copy of this Resolution,
addressed to each.
