HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 18-06 Community Development Feesiiii City of McCall RESOLUTION 18-06 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO, ADOPTING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RELATED MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Resolution 18-06 combines previous fee schedules for Planning and Zoning, Building and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) adopted through Resolutions into one Community and Economic Development Resolution with all department fees; and WHEREAS, McCall City Code 3.15.03.J provides that a fee schedule for planning and zoning related matters be established periodically by City Council; and WHEREAS, the City of McCall has reviewed its procedures, estimated the range of costs for providing these services, and compared proposed City fees to the corresponding fees charged by like mountain towns; and WHEREAS, notice of the proposed fees was published in The Star News, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, on February 8 and 15, 2018, and a public hearing was held on the proposed increased fees on February 22, 2018 all as required by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is in the best interest of the owners of property and of the inhabitants within the City to modify and create new fees as set forth below. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, Valley County, Idaho that: Section 1: The following rates and fees are hereby adopted as the fees for Community Development applications and matters. Fees are payable prior to City taking action on the application in question: Land Use Fee Schedule Application/Action Fee Administrative Approval $50 Annexation $3,000 Conditional Use Permit $600 Design Review $300 plus $25/1000 square feet of new construction Resolution 18-06: Community and Economic Development Fees February 22, 2018 Page 1 of 4 Administrative Approval for signs in excess of 15 sq. ft. $150 Administrative Approval for sign 15 sq. ft. or less $50 Planned Unit Development General Plan $2,000 plus $75/lot or unit Planned Unit Development Final Plan $500 plus $75/lot or unit Planned Unit Development Amendment Minor — $500 Major — same fee as new application Record of Survey $350 plus $70 County Surveyor fee Scenic Route Zone Review $300 Shoreline Zone Review $300 Subdivision Preliminary Plat $2,000 plus $75/lot or unit plus $500 County Surveyor fee Subdivision Final Plat $500 plus $75/lot or unit plus $500 County Surveyor fee Subdivision Amendment Minor - $500 plus $500 County Surveyor fee Major - same fee as new application Development Agreement or Amendment to a Development Agreement $500 Vacation of existing subdivision, right-of-way or easement $750 Variance $1,000 Zoning and/or Subdivision Ordinance Amendment $750 per Title Zoning Map Amendment $1,500 CBD Parking (MCC 3.4.061) $7,500 for each space omitted City Engineer Review $75/hr.
