Barney, Clerk Carteret Borough Municipal Building 61 Cooke Avenue Carteret, New Jersey 07008 Dear Ms. Barney: This is in reference to your Memorandum dated March 11, 2005 enclosing a certified copy ofiÐidínance No, 05-10 réquesting this office to investigate the feasibility of establishing a Four (4) Ton Weight Limitation on Roosevelt Avenue (CR # 606) and Washington Avenue (CR # 604) in the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex. Based upon a file review conducted by this office, it has been determined that the following issues must be addressed in order to complete our investigation. 1. An investigation was conducted in May of 2004, concerning the aforementioned county roadways in Carteret Borough and Port Reading Avenue in Woodbridge Township. Based on this investigation, it was determined that the proposed weight restrictions were predicated on constructing the remaining portion of Industrial Road from Port - Reading Avenue, at East Tappen Street, to it's current terminus. We have no documentation to date, to indicate that this construction project has been completed.
