HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 594 - Extending Elections to 8am to 8pm1 ORDINANCE NO. 5 / y AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CITY ELECTIONS; AMENDING TITLE 1 OF THE MCCALL CITY CODE BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW CHAPTER 12, MCCALL CITY CODE, TO APPROVE THAT FOR CITY GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS THE POLLS SHALL OPEN AT 8:00 A.M. AND CLOSE AT 8:00 P.M. OF THE SAME DAY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Title 1, McCall City Code, be, and the same is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a chapter, to be known and designated as Chapter 12, McCall City Code, and to read as follows: Chapter 12 ELECTIONS 1-12-1: HOURS OF OPENING AND CLOSING POLLS FOR CITY GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS: At all general and special city elections the polls shall be open for voting at the hour of 8:00 o'clock A.M. and remain open until 8:00 p.m. of the same day..
