STAFF PRESENT:
Bill Luebbert, Electrical Inspector
The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met September 15, 2020, in the Small Conference
Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by
Bill Luebbert at 4:00 p.m. A quorum was present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM THE AUGUST 13, 2020 MEETING
A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve the minutes of
the August 13, 2020 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
REVIEW EXAM TESTING APPLICATIONS
• A motion was made by Sam Thomas and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve Kelly
West to take the Master Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show of hands.
• A motion was made by Sam Thomas and seconded by Jim Gooch to approve Kenny
Slavens to take the Journeyman Electrician Exam. Motion was denied by a show of
hands.
REVIEW LICENSE APPLICATIONS
• A motion was made by Fred Gladbach and seconded by Jim Gooch to approve Devin
Fischer to receive his Journeyman Electrician License. Motion passed by show of hands.
• A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve Justice
Richards to receive his Journeyman Electrician License. Motion passed by show of
hands.
• A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Sam Thomas to approve Chris
Russell to receive his Master Electrician License. Motion passed by show of hands.

NEW BUSINESS
• Fred Gladbach updated Board Members on the progress of the Interview Panels'
consideration of applicants for the City Building Official position .
• Interviews have been completed and the panel felt positive about the option of
candidates. Second interviews may follow.
SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING
The Electrical Review Board's next meeting will be Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Board
Members shall meet at 4:00 p.m. in the small conference room (aka Thomas Jefferson
Conference Room.
