HomeMy Public PortalAbout2023-122 Resolution Accepting MSA Professional Services' Statement of Final Completion and Owner's Acceptance of the Work for the City Hall Parking Lots Reconstruction ProjectRESOLUTION 2023-122 Resolution Accepting MSA Professional Services' Statement of Final Completion and Owner's Acceptance of the Work for the City Hall Parking Lots Reconstruction Project WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has submitted a Statement of Final Completion and Owner's Acceptance of the Work for the City Hall Parking Lots Reconstruction project; and, WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services states that the work between the Owner and the Contractor has been completed to the best of their knowledge and belief and is in substantial compliance with the provisions of the contract documents; and, WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services recommends the final payment authorized hereto is made a part here of and is a complete and accurate summary of the work performed in accordance with the contract documents; and, WHEREAS, lien waivers from all subcontractors have been submitted to the City; and, WHEREAS, the project is under warranty for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion (November 2, 2023); and, WHEREAS. MSA Professional Services recommends that the Statement of Final Completion is accepted; and, WHEREAS, this action requires no funding source. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that: Section 1. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the Statement of Final Completion and Owner's Acceptance of the Work for the City Hall Parking Lots Reconstruction Project.
