CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION MEETING, NOVEMBER 9, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the November 9, 2020 City Council Special Session meeting to
order at 5:31 P.M.
Due to COVID-19/social distancing recommendations, the meeting was held virtually and
streamed live on Facebook.
ROLL CALL
The f ollowing Councilmembers were present for roll-call:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Vogt, Ward, and
Wiseman
Absent: Lester and Schreiber
JEFFERSON CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CONTRACT
Mayor Tergin turned the floor over to Missy Bonnot, Jeff Davidso n, and Darren Heckman
of the Chamber of Commerce for a PowerPoint Presentation on the Chamber of
Commerce’s current projects and their organizational plans for the future.
*Councilmember Lester joined the meeting at 5:38 P.M.
After a question and answer discussion between the Chamber of Commerce
representatives, City Councilmembers, and City Staff, Councilmember Graham motioned
to authorize the year 4 renewal of the $185,000 agreement with Jefferson City Chamber
of Commerce for economic development services. Councilmember Fitzwater seconded
the motion. The motion passed by the following roll-call vote:
Aye: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Lester, Vogt, Ward,
and Wiseman
Nay: None
Absent: Schreiber
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made by Councilmember Wiseman, seconded by
Councilmember Graham, and approved unanimously at 6:26 P.M.
