AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
THE WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the Widowed Persons Service desires to submit a grant application to purchase a new computer and printer to assist with creation, printing, and mass e-mailing of the WPS newsletter.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The Widowed Persons Service is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Wayne County Foundation to purchase a new computer and printer.
The Widowed Persons Service is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to One Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-seven Dollars ($1,527.00).
Said funds, if awarded to the Widowed Persons Service, shall be appropriated to purchase a new computer and printer.
Passed and adopted this 16th day of July, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
