AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
DONALD J. NORBUT, P.E., C.M.E., OF T&M ASSOCIATES AS THE
BOROUGH ENGINEER FOR THE YEAR 2005
BE 11' RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET, THAT
WHEREAS, on January 1, 2005, Donald J. Norbut ofT&M Associates was appointed as
the Borough Consulting Engineer for the year 2005; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to have a contract document which speIJs out the tenns and
conditions of the employment of the Borough Consulting Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough Council, Borough ofCarteret,
County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that the attached contract, marked Exhibit "A"
for the engineering services of Donald J. Norbut and T&M Associates be and hereby is
approved in an amount not to exceed $35,000.00 for General Engineering and $25,000.00
for General Sewer Engineering.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Borough Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the Borough ofCarteret.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a notice of this Resolution and award of contract
shall be published as required by law.

according to the tenns set forth in RESOLUTION.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set
forth in Resolution.
