Leesburg’s 2015 Water Quality Report Now Available Online
Leesburg, VA (April 6, 2016) – The Leesburg Utilities Department recently released the Town’s
Water Quality Report for 2015 in which Leesburg met or exceeded all of the Environmental
Protection Agency’s water quality standards. The full report can be viewed on the Town
website at www.leesburgva.gov/waterqualityreport.
Since 1999, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has required water providers to
publish annual water quality reports. The report provides customers with information about
the source, treatment, and testing of their drinking water as well as an overview of drinking
water regulations.
“Water quality is a vital service across the country, and the Town of Leesburg takes great pride
in providing safe and reliable water to our community” said Leesburg Town Manager Kaj
Dentler.
According to Amy Wyks, Leesburg’s Director of Utilities, “The Town of Leesburg adheres to the
water testing requirements set by the Environmental Protection Agency. We encourage
customers who have questions about water quality to contact the Town’s Utilities Department
at 703-737-7110.”
