A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND
POLLING PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS AND
FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
ON TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 1988, CALLED BY RESOLUTION NO.
87 -2753 OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
IWHEREAS, a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, April
1988, has been called by Resolution No. 87 -2753, adopted on December
1987;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFOR-
NIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That for the purpose of holding the General Municipal
Election, there is established 11 voting precincts consisting of the regu-
lar election precincts in the City of Temple City, established for the
holding of state and county elections, as the regular election precincts
exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. That the polling places
for the respective precincts shall be the places designated; and that the
persons named being competent and voters and residents of the City are
appointed precinct board members for their respective voting precincts and
they shall conduct the election in the manner provided by law.

SECTION 2. That the compensation of the persons named as precinct
board members is fixed at the sum of Forty -Five Dollars for each Inspector
and Thirty -Five Dollars for each Judge and Clerk for the election. The
rental for each polling place, where a charge is made, shall be the sum of
Twenty -Five Dollars for the election.- When required, the compensation of
the Custodian of a building shall be Twelve Dollars for the election.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolu-
tions.
