AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE #71-9, ESTABLISHING
SALARY SCHEDULES AND FIXING THE MANNER OF
PAYMENTS OF SALARIES FOR VARIOUS OFFICIALS AND
EMPLOYEES OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. that the following Amendment of the above entitled Ordinance be made in
Section 1:
Laborer
Effective 6/1/01
Step 1 $12.50 / hr.
Step 2 13.25 / hr.
Step 3 14.00 / hr.
Step 4 14.75 / hr.
Step 5 15.50 / hr.
New Employees hired after June 1, 2001 will receive the above pay steps on their
anniversary date of employment.
SECTION 2. That the Schedule of Compensation of this Ordinance shall take effect
upon passage and publication as provided by Law.
