At a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Rhinelander held in the City Hall on Wednesday evening July 5th. 1922 at 7:30 o'clock. Meeting called to order by Mayor Perinier. All members present, except. Ald. Morrison, Belliel and Gilligan. Minutes of last meeting read and, approved, after the motion of and carried Ald. Willlai~ns, seconded by Ald. Communication from the State Board of Health with regard to the water situation in Rhinelander read and on file in the Clerk's Office. Moved by Ald. Wight seconded by Ald. Williams that the procedure with regard to agitation on the water question be left to the Committee on city to Affairsvdo as they see fit. Carried. COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS Petition. Gentlemen; We the underuigned respectfully petition your Honorable body to have Alban St, put in good condition in front of Lote 7, 8 and 9 Albans Addition, also that a sidewalk grade be established in front of said lets. RESCLV 7n BY THE NAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RHIW LANDER that the Plat submitted to the Council as Boom Lake Addition to the City of Rhinelander be and the same is hereby approved and accepted. RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF FH'IYELANDER That the Board of Public Works be authorized to make improvements on North Stevens St. from DeSota St and on Pinos St. to Larch St. by puttirng on enough crushed rock to make a fair passable street, a distance of four blocks across the swamp and also for a distance of about 200 ft. on Minola St. Introduced by Alderman (Signed) Olof Goldstrand. RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RHINE+LANDER, That WHEREAS, it appears that State Trunk Highways number fourteen (14) and thirty-nine (39) have for the past several years been. routedrprnarked and traveled via the village of :4lonico and the Village of Pelican Lake and it has been generally believed that this route was the permanent location of said highways, and WHEREAS, it appears that the State Highway Commission has changed the location of said trunk highways number fourteen (14) and thirty-nine (39) so that they no longer go through the villages of Monico and Pelican Lake, and, CAF HE CITY OF RHINE NDER, WIS. The section number "1569-3" in section 1 is ame nded to read Cha pter 76hh of the 1921 Wisconsin statutes. Section 3. The cha pter n umber 685 of the laws of 1919 in section 2, is amen ded to read chapter 76hh of the 1921 Wisconsi n statutes. The Mayor stated. that Mr. John Morrison would act on the different committees in place of A2J.Bouffiou resigned, Moved ly Ald. Williams, seconded by Ald. Weisman that the Board of Public Worke be authorized to purchase the corner of Mr. Thayer at not over 050.00 and to do as they see fit. Carried, all memhere present voting aye at roll call. Olson that the Board of Public Works tile the sewer connecting with the Soo Line sewer onN.Brown St. and also fix the sewer in the swamp on Margaret St. Carried, all membere present voting aye at roll call.
