HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 649 - Firearms & Human WasteORDINANCE NO. bf9,7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, CLARIFYING THE CITY CODE WITH RESPECT TO DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS; AND WITH RESPECT TO VOIDING HUMAN WASTES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. McCall City Code Section 5-5-710, respecting firearms, is amended by adding a subsection (F) as follows: (F) It is unlawful for any person to discharge a firearm within the City Limits; except: 1. a peace officer doing so within the scope of his duties or training, or 2. when permitted by the State law governing use of deadly force in the defense of life, limb or property. Section 2. McCall City Code Section 5-5-020 is amended by adding the matter underlined to the definition of disorderly conduct, as a subsection (J), as follows: (J) Urinating or defecating upon the surface of the ground or against a building or vegetation, or inside a building or structure other than into a fixture designed and properly installed for that express purpose. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publica ion as required by law. Passed and approve .41993.
