Approval of Minutes: Reading of Correspondence: Council & Mayor Reports: Public Hearing: 1. Ordinance 89-07 - Regulating the Transport and Keeping of Animals in Motor Vehicles. 2. Request that the City donate a parcel of land on East 200 South for a handicap home to be built by the state for Southeastern Utah residents. 3. Ordinance 89-08 - Increasing the Salary for the Police Chief, Exempt Position. Bid Openings: 1. Police Vehicle for the Police Department. 2. Golf Cart Storage Shed for the Golf Course. VI. Old Business: 1. Ruth L. Fitzsimmons DBA Dave's Hitch'n Post requests a Class I Beer License, background investigation completed, tabled from August 1st. 2. Joe Kingsley DBA Poplar Place - Requests refund of Class I Beer License for 1989, tabled from August 1st. 3. Planning Commissions recommendation to Council on Conditional Use Home Occupation Bed and Breakfast for Ulli Ecker at 147 N. 2nd East, tabled from August 15th. 4. Dorothy Markle - Markle Insurance Agency - Requests an Agent of Record Letter from Moab City to Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Utah. VII. New 1. Business: Carrie Bailey - Democratic Party - Requests permission to have a live band at the Old City Park on Septmeber 8th. 2. Ed Stone requests abatement of penalty for Business License. 3. Delta Environmental - Requests permission to dis- charge treated water into Waste Water Treatment Plant from the Star Foods location. 4. Sheriff Nyland - Law Enforcement issues discussion. 5: David Halcomb - Super 8 Project review with Council. 6. Ordinance 89-07 - Regulating the Transport and Keeping of Animals in Motor Vehicles. 7.
