AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8 -30 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CITY CODE REGARDING
SCHEDULE OF ON- STREET RESERVED HANDICAP PARKING SPACES
WHEREAS, Section 8 -30 of the Greencastle City Code lists the on- street reserved handicap
parking spaces within the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to amend and add to Section 8 -30 of the Greencastle City Code;
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
Section 8 -30. Schedule of On-Street Reserved Handicap Parking Spaces, is hereby amended to read
as follows:

Anderson Street
College Street
Location of Reserved Handicap Parking Spaces

Two (2) spaces located on the north side of Anderson Street, 200 feet east of Locust
Street
One (l) space located on the west side of College Street, 35 feet south of Hanna
Street. One (1) space located on the west Side of College Street, 345 feet south of
Hanna Street
Franklin Street One (1) space located on the south side of Franklin Street between Market and
Madison Street. One (1) space located on the north side of Franklin Street
immediately east of the intersection of Franklin Street and Indiana Street
Howard Street Two (2) spaces located nearest to the intersection of Howard Street and Crown Street
on the south side of Howard Street, west of Crown Street
Indiana Street Two (2) spaces located on the west side of the street inunediately south of the
crosswalk between Franklin Street and Washington Street
Larabee Street Two (2) spaces located on the north side, 30 feet west of the circle
Locust Street 'rwo (2) spaces located 171 feet and 373 feet north of Fianna Street on the west side
of Locust Street, and One (I) space immediately north of Simpson Street
0 Madison Sweet Entire Last side of Ivladison Street between Washington and Franklin Street
Olive Street One (1) space located three hundred (300) feet west of College Street on the north
side of Olive Street
Poplar Street One (1) space located twenty-five (25) feet west of Indiana Street on the south side of
Poplar Street
Simpson Street One (I) space located on the south side of Simpson Street, 200 feet west of Locust
Street
Spring Street One (1) space located on the east side of Spring Street 190 feet south of Seminary
Street
Vine Street One (I) space located on the east side, 90 feet north of Poplar Street
Vine Street Two (2) spaces in the Vine Street Parking Lot located at the comer of Walnut
Parking Lot and Vine Street
Walnut Sweet One (1) space located twenty -five (25) feet east of Indiana Street on the north side of
Walnut Street
Washington Street One (1) space located sixty-five (65) feet west of College Street on the north side of
Washington Street, and One (1) space located on the south side of Washington Street
immediately east of the intersection of Washington and Jackson Street

This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
