Nomination Deadline for Leesburg Business Awards Extended
to Monday, April 25
Leesburg, VA (April 20, 2016) – The Town of Leesburg has extended the nomination deadline
for the 15th Annual Business Awards until 5:00pm on Monday, April 25, 2016. Nominations are
now being accepted for outstanding business practices as they apply in ten award categories.
Visit the Town website for criteria for the ten award categories, an online nomination form and
helpful hints on submitting competitive nominations (www.leesburgva.gov/businessawards).
Nominees for all categories must have the primary physical location of the company,
organization or business entity within the corporate limits of the Town of Leesburg. Businesses
must possess a valid Town of Leesburg business license, must be in compliance with all Town
ordinances and must have been in operation for at least one year. Persons nominated for the
George C. Marshall Corporate Citizen Award do not need to reside within the Town.
The nominees and award recipients will be recognized at the 1 5th Annual Business Awards
Ceremony on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in the lower level conference space at the Ida Lee
Recreation Center (60 Ida Lee Drive NW). For more information, please contact Marantha
