RESOLUTION 2024-009
Resolution Naming Official Publications of the City of Riverdale, Iowa
WHEREAS, all cities in Iowa must designate official publications for all official notices of the City
pursuant to Iowa Code 618.3; and,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to name the Quad City Times and the North Scott Press as its sources for
official publications.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:
Section 1.
The Quad City Times and the North Scott Press are hereby approved as the official
publications of the City for the calendar year 2024 in compliance with chapter 618 of the
Code of Iowa.
Section 2 City staff members are authorized to publish information for the City, as required by law, in
the Quad City Times or the North Scott Press.
Passed, approved, and adopted this 9th day of January 2024.
