Resolution Approving the Appointment of Members and
Officers of the Riverdale Fire Department
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted to the City by section 372 of the Code of Iowa, and
Chapters 16 through 21 of the City code, Council makes various appointments to its offices annually; and,
WHEREAS, the raster of the Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department for 2024, including a list of officers, is
as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:
Section 1. Council hereby approves the appointment of the members and officers listed above who
have volunteered to serve the community as fire fighters in 2024.
Section 2. Council thanks the members and officers of the Riverdale Fire Department for their
dedication and service.
Passed, approved, and adopted this 9th day of January 2024.
