RESOLUTION NO. 2005.008
A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD UTILITY AUTHORITY
AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF WATER
METERS TO WESTERLY METER SERVICE COMPANY AND
AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the replacement of old water meters is required to insure the
efficiency of the City's water distribution system; and
WHEREAS, the required funds to complete the purchase of the water
meters are available in the Environmental Services/ Water Division account; and
WHEREAS, the Notice Inviting Bids for the purchase of water meters was
advertised on May 5, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on May 24, 2005 and Westerly
Meter Service Company was the apparent lowest responsible bidder at $ 77, 025.00;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, the Lynwood Utility Authority does hereby resolve,
order. and determine as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Purchase of Water Meters be awarded
to Westerly Meter Service Company.
Section 2. That the President is hereby authorized to execute the contract
agreement with Westerly Meter Service Company.
