RESOLUTION 2024-001
Resolution Appointing Greg Lehman to the Planning and Zoning Commission
WHEREAS, the City established a Planning and Zoning Commission via Ordinance Chapter 21: Planning
and Zoning Commission; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance Chapter 21.01 stipulates that the Commission shall consist of five (5) residents
appointed by Council for terms of five (5) years each; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has an opening due to a resignation, and Greg
Lehman, a resident of the City, has volunteered to serve on the Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to reestablish staggered 5 year terms with currently open 1, 4, and 5 year
terms; and,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to appoint Greg Lehman to the Planning and Zoning Commission for the
remainder of the open term; and,
WHEREAS, no actual monetary expenses will be incurred by this action.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:
Section 1. Greg Lehman is appointed as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission to serve
the remainder of the open term effective 01/01/2024 through 12/31/2024.
Passed, approved, and adopted this 9th day of January 2024.
