HomeMy Public PortalAbout2020-11-16 pre-meeting CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, NOVEMBER 16, 2020 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Carrie Tergin called the November 16, 2020 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:45 P.M. to review the agenda. Due to COVID-19/social distancing recommendations, the meeting was held virtually and streamed live on Facebook. ATTENDANCE The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened: Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Lester, Schreiber, Vogt, Ward, and Wiseman Absent: None A quorum was present. DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS Councilmember Graham will lead the prayer. Agenda - Mayor Tergin will request a motion to amend the agenda, adding Item 4(a.) under Miscellaneous, COVID-19 update from Kristi Campbell, Cole County Health Department, and Dr. Lenora Adams, SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. Appointments by the Mayor - Human Resources Director Gail Strope will present the recommended appointments. Presentations from Staff, Consultants & Invited Guests - Ross Pfannenstiel will provide an update on the Rock Island Trail. Consent Agenda Items - There were no questions at this time. Lincoln University Student Representative Update - Councilmember Graham and Mayor Tergin announced Mr. Stacy Landis has been selected as the next Lincoln University Student Representative. He will attend his first City Council meeting on December 7th. CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, NOVEMBER 16, 2020 Bills Introduced - City Staff presented their respective introduced bills. Bills Pending - City Staff presented their respective pending bills. Resolutions - City Staff presented the respective resolution. ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 5:53 P.M.
