APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT-
T & M ASSOCIATES-RE: PREPARATION OF A MINOR
SUBDIVISION OF LAND OF THE BP PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the B:Jrough of Carteret (the "Borough") is in need of specialized
engineering services with regard to the preparation of a minor subdivision of land of the
BP Property; and
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of T &M Associates, possess the requisite knowledge
and expertise to provide such services; and
WHEREAS, T &M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a
maximum cost not to exceed $5,850.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
.' for the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
I. The proposal by T &M Associates to provide engineering services
for the preparation of a minor subdivision of land of the BP Property in
the amount not to exceed $5,850.00 billable, is hereby approved.
2. This award is made as a professional services contract pursuant to
NJ.S.A.40A:II-5(l)(a).

THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following
SPECIALIZED ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH REGARD TO THE
PREPARATION OF A MINOR SUBDIVISION OF LAND OF THE BP PROPERTY,
NOT TO EXCEED $5,850.00
according to the terms set forth in RESOLUTION.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set
forth in Resolution.
