PRESENT: WILLIAM F. KOCH, JR. MAYOR
GEORGE W. WALKER VICE MAYOR
JOAN S. LAPORTE COMMISSIONER
JOHN K. WHITTEMORE COMMISSIONER
ABSENT: HENRY N. WHITNEY COMMISSIONER

The Meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Mayor Koch.
First item discussed was road repair work to be done in the Town. The
revised road work is a result of a survey of the Town streets by the
Town Commission. After a general discussion of the updated road work
project as presented, Mr. Walker moved that work be started immediately
but substituting work on Banyan Road in place of Pelican Lane. Mr.
Whittemore seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
The second item of discussion was a report on Water System Acquisition
etc. as prepared by Russell & Axon. Mr. John H. Klinck of the firm
was present to answer questions from the Commission. After a thorough
discussion of the report it was the general feeling of the Commission
that the Town continue one more year with the same arrangement of
buying water and then consider a joint project to solve the water and
sewer problems at the same time.
Meeting adjourned 10:25 A.M.
