The tour is scheduled to depart from the Ping lot of the Woodside
Town Hall on Woodside Road in Woodside. See tentative itinerary
on reverse side. A final itinerary will be available at the start of the
meeting.eet

Reserved seating will be provided for the invited officials aboard
vehicles provided by the District, and for the public on a space-
available basis. Members of the public are asked to bring their own
lunches, and to be prepared to drive their own vehicles if space is not
available in the District's vehicles.

11:55 a.m. Arrive at La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve(Red Barn)

9:10 am - Welcoming remarks, Board member introductions by Deane Little, Board President;
brief overview of the day,staff introductions by Craig Britton,General Manager;

9:20 am - Tour buses depart the Woodside Town Hall;
tour guides narrate
9:50 am - Tour buses arrive at Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve;
guests disembark the tour buses;
guests walk to the David C. Daniels Nature Center at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve
10:00 am - Carl Oosterman,Community Programs Supervisor,to give a brief overview of the Nature
Center;
guests walk through the Nature Center
10:15 am - Guests walk to the Skyline Field Office;
David Sanguinetti,Area Superintendent (Skyline Office),to discuss the Skyline Field Office
operations
10:25 am - Craig Britton to give a brief overview of the District's proposed coastal annexation project
10:35 am - Guests enjoy refreshments
10:45 am- Guests board the tour buses
11:00 am - Tour buses arrive at Windy Hill Open Space Preserve;
guests disembark the tour buses;
guests walk to the top of the knoll via the Anniversary Trail
11:15 am - Craig Britton to continue overview of the District's proposed coastal annexation project
11:25 am - Guests walk down the Anniversary Trail toward the north gate
11:40 am- Cathy Woodbury, Planning Manager,to give a brief overview of the District's new sign

11:45 am- Guests board the tour buses
12:00 pm - Tour buses arrive at La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve;
guests disembark the tour buses;
guests pick up their lunches and enjoy lunch at the picnic tables
12:30 pm - Matt Freeman, Planner 11,to give a brief talk on the master planning project for La Honda
Creek Open Space Preserve
12:35 pm- Cathy Woodbury to give a brief talk on the history of the Red Barn,the pallid bats,and
the restoration project
12:40 pm- Grant Kern, Lead Open Space Technician,to walk guests over to the Red Barn and give a
brief talk on District staff involvement in the restoration project
12:55 pm- Guests board the tour buses;
guests enjoy north skyline area tour;

1:20 pm- Tour buses arrive at Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve;
John Escobar,Assistant General Manager,to give a brief overview of the preserve
