Commission on Human Relations
Friday, November 20, 2020
Due to COVID-19 and social distancing recommendations, the Commission on
Human Relations meeting was made available by using a Webex meeting.
ATTENDEES
Commission members present:
Susan Cook-Williams, Andria Hendricks, Missy Creed, Kimberly Woodruff, Frank Rycyk, Mitchell Woodrum
Commission members absent:
Jane Barnes, Patsy Johnson

The September 25, 2020 meeting minutes were reviewed and approved with a motion by Frank Rycyk and seconded by
Susan Cook-Williams.
New Business:
Stronger through Diversity Speaking Event - Planning
Aiming to focus on Black History Month and taking more time to plan an event on immigration.
ALL: Be thinking of contacts for a presenter and around 3 people who would make for a good panel.
We will form a committee at the December meeting.
Crayola Crayon JCAF Partnership Recap
Great turnout and preschools are all excited.
The committee is currently compiling questions to put into a feedback survey. If anyone has questions they’d like to be
included, email them to creed.missy@gmail.com.
Jane Barnes will present to evening Rotary about DIVE on Tues Dec 8th.
Election of Members/Officers
Gail will check when she gets back to the office to let us know if we have anyone up for renewal.
This will be revisited in the December meeting.
Mitchell Woodrum will be stepping down as chair in January 2021.
Mitchell nominating Susan Cook Williams as chair and Kim Woodruff as vice chair, and Jane Barnes as secretary.
Frank Rycyk seconded this nomination.
All in favor.
Treasurer position is open.
Kim nominated Mitchell
Frank seconded.
All in favor.
Mitchell and Andria are up for reappointment in 2021.
Both are interested in reappointment.
