1. Issue of renaming the Old & New City Parks.

VI. New Business:
1. Grand County Convention Bureau - Requests use of
City facilities and streets blocked off Tuesday,
July 3, 1990, for "The Great American Race" with
use of City Police for crowd control.
2. Dale Pierson with the Grand County Water Conservancy
District - Requests extention of their agreement
with Moab City to purchase culinary water from the
GCWCD.
3. Confirmation of appointment to the Grand County
Special Service District for a two-year term.
4. James M. Montgomery Consulting Engineers Inc. -
Request agreement between them and the City for
preauthorization for fees to do miscellaneous
services for the Wastewater Treatment Facility and
Collection System and the Water Supply and Water
Distribution Systems.
5. Request to advertise for a public hearing on an
ordinance prohibiting the use of compression brak-
ing or "Jake Braking" within the city limits of
Moab.
6. Discuss Redevelopment Agency study areas.
7. Transfer of City lease with Grand County on the
Equestrian Center grounds to Grand County Special
Recreation District.
8. Turning over Moab City Recreation responsibility
to the Grand County Special Recreation District
on January 1st 1990.
9. Report and recommendation from the committee of
six concerning the project and property at the
corner of Center and Main.
10. Delbert Long, President of the Moab Country Club,
to present the fee structure for the Golf Course
for the 1990 year.
11. Background investigations completed by Police
Department on Beer Licenses:
a. Richard Hover and Ronald Halbert, DBA K & R
Foods request a Class III Beer License.
b. Sherm Standard, DBA Best Value I.G.A requests
a Class III Beer License.
c. Wanda Hughes, DBA Dos Amigos requests a Class I
Beer License.
d. Margaret Ann Crain, DBA Hitch'n Post requests
a Seasonal Class III Beer License fur 1-1-90
to 1-31-90.
12. Moab City Chamber of Commerce - Requests contribu-
tion from Moab City for Beautification Awards.
13. Robin Guymon - Requests follow-up on gas plume
area from State Health Department, Bill Moore.
14. Consideration by Council for employees for
Christmas.
Pay the bills against the City of Moab.
Any other citizens request to be heard.
