HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 687 - Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the Fiscal Year 95-96ORDINANCE NO. 687 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, ENTITLED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1995, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $23,535,725 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF MCCALL FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFICIENT TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY AND SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES FOR WHICH SAID APPROPRIATION IS MADE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of McCall, Valley County, Idaho, as follows: Section 1: That the sum $23,535,725 be, and the same is appropriated to defray the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of McCall, Valley County, Idaho for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1995. Section 2: The objects and purposes for which such appropriation is made, and the amount of each object and purpose is as follows: General Fund Mayor and Council $52,235 City Manager $69,245 City Clerk/Treasurer $327,240 City Attorney $89,310 Planning and Zoning $49,660 City Engineer $68,360 Building Maintenance $50,795 Police Department $604,220 Fire $202,680 Building Inspector $51,565 Public Works $783,265 Parks $490,145 Total General Fund $2,838,720.00 Street Fund $588,190 Library Fund $103,630 Liability Insurance $69,005 Recreation Fund $71,435 Drug Enforcement Fund $21,600 Gen. Section 4: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval and publication in one issue of the Star News, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of McCall, and the official newspaper of said City. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 31st day of August 1995. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 50-207, Idaho Code, I keep a correct journal of the proceedings of the Council of the City of McCall, Idaho, and that I am the statutory custodian of all laws, ordinances and resolutions of said City. 2. That the attached Ordinance No. 687 is a true and correct copy of an ordinance passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of McCall held on August 24, 1995, and duly recorded in my office; and 3. That said regular meeting was duly convened and held in all respects in accordance with law and to the extent required by law, due and proper notice of such meeting having been given; that a legal quorum was present throughout the meeting and that a legally sufficient number of members of the Council voted in the proper manner and for the passage of said ordinance; and that all other requirements and proceedings incident to the proper adoption and passage of said ordinance have been duly fulfilled, carried out and observed; and that I am authorized to execute this certificate.
