GEORGE W. WALKER JOAN S. LAPORTE JOHN K. WHITTEMORE ABSENT: LINDLEY S. BETTISON MAYOR VICE MAYOR COMMISSSIONER COMMISSIONER COMMISSIONER Also attending: William E. Gwynn, Town Manager, Barbara Gwynn, Deputy Town Clerk, Mr. Raymond E. Bloom, Mr. Malcolm Hunter and Mr. Martin Schneebalg. The Special Advertised Meeting on the proposed budget and millage was called to order at 5:01 P.M. by Mayor Koch. Town Manager Gwynn announced that another Special Advertised Meeting will be held September 29, 1975 and the millage and budget will then be adopted. Mayor Koch stated that the proposed millage based on the assessed valuation of the Town of Gulf Stream as given to the Town by the Tax Assessor is $34,480,097.00 and for this proposed budget it would require a 3.9 millage. This is an in- crease of six tenths of a mill over last year. The Total budget for the fiscal year 1975 - 1976 would be $234,677.00. Meeting adjourned 5:48 P.M. �o cw e, w Deputy Town Cle NOTICE ' TO PROPERTI OWNERS TOWN OF GULF STREAM The Town Commission has tenta- tively set the millage for 1975 276 at 3.9 mills, which is an increase of 11.- 81 % over last year. The County Assessor certified to the town that 3.488 mills would produce the same income as last year. How- ever, to provide an adquate level of services the Town Commission has tentatively determined to increase your taxes above the certified 3.488.
