PROPOSED BUDGET AND MILLAGE
INCREASE. SEPTEMBER 29,1975
PRESENT: WILLIAM F. KOCH, JR. MAYOR
GEORGE W. WALKER VICE MAYOR
JOAN S. LAPORTE COMMISSIONER
JOHN K. WHITTEMORE COMMISSIONER
LINDLEY S. BETTISON COMMISSIONER
Also attending: William E. Gwynn, Town Manager, Barbara Gwynn,
Deputy Town Clerk.
The Special Advertised Meeting on the proposed budget and millage
was called to order at 5:01 P.M. by Mayor Koch. The Meeting was open
for discussion. Resolution No. 75 -11 was then read to the Commission.
This Resolution is attached and becomes a part of these minutes. On
motion by Mrs. LaPorte, seconded by Mr. Whittemore this Resolution was
adopted.
Resolution No. 75 -12 which is also attached as part of thse minutes
was read to the Commission. Upon Motion by Mr. Walker and seconded
by Mrs. LaPorte this Resolution was adopted.
Meeting adjourned 5 :15 P.M.

NOTICE
TO PROPERTY OWNERS
TOWN OF GULF STREAM
The Town Commission has tenta-
tively set the millage for 1975 276 at
3.9 mills, which is an increase of 11.-
81 % over last year.
The County Assessor certified to the
town that 3.488 mills would produce
the same income as last year. How-
ever, to provide' an adquate level of
services the Town Commission has
tentatively determined to increase
your taxes above the certified 3.488.
A public hearing on this matter will
)e held on:
