Members discussed drafting language to propose a City code change due to the recent

only authorizes the licensee to practice general electric work in the City. It does not
authorize them to supervise Electrical Apprentices; licensed or unlicensed.
NEW BUSINESS
• Members discussed the process required to adopt the 2017 Electrical Code.
• Members discussed the idea of requiring proof of continued work hours to renew
individual electrical licenses in the future.
• Members discussed how code committees will be formed to review the 2018 Building
Codes.
• Members discussed information on installing a 5G network on electrical power poles.
